Terms & Conditions
By booking with ProSpring Auto Detailing, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions in full.
1. Payment
Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless a separate arrangement has been agreed in writing prior to the appointment. All payments are non-refundable once services have been rendered. Failure to make payment may result in recovery action.
2. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations
ProSpring Auto Detailing reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to adverse weather conditions, including rain, storms, or heatwaves. Customers must provide at least 24 hours' notice prior to their appointment for any changes or cancellations. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of any deposit paid.
3. Vehicle Inspection & Service Disputes
Customers should inspect their vehicle upon completion of service and before leaving the premises. Any concerns regarding the quality of work must be raised immediately. Claims made after the customer has left will not be accepted. Fraudulent claims may be referred to the relevant authorities.
4. Satisfaction Guarantee
ProSpring Auto Detailing stands behind the quality of every service. If you are not happy with the result, simply let us know and we will return to re-perform the relevant work at no additional cost to you. This guarantee covers the work performed and means you receive a free redo — not a refund — where the concern relates to service quality. This guarantee does not apply where dissatisfaction arises from pre-existing vehicle condition, customer-requested limitations, or matters beyond our control. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this guarantee.
5. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for removing all personal belongings — including jewellery and valuables — from their vehicle before service begins. ProSpring Auto Detailing accepts no liability for lost or damaged items left in the vehicle. Rubbish and unwanted items may be left in the vehicle and will be removed as part of the service.
6. Pre-Existing Damage & Liability
While every care is taken, ProSpring Auto Detailing is not liable for pre-existing damage to a vehicle's surfaces, upholstery, or electronics; damage resulting from structural faults or manufacturing defects; or weather-related outcomes following service completion (e.g., rain after detailing). Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, we will make it right — whether that means re-performing the service or another appropriate remedy. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for the drop in value caused by the failure. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
7. Vehicle Transportation
ProSpring Auto Detailing does not provide vehicle transportation. Customers are responsible for delivering and collecting their vehicle at the agreed time and location.
8. Pricing & Quotes
Quoted prices are estimates based on information provided prior to inspection. Final pricing may vary upon physical inspection of the vehicle's condition. Additional charges may apply for vehicles with excessive pet hair, sand, dirt, or debris. Travel fees apply beyond 20km from Peregian Springs.
9. Photography
All vehicles and/or license plates are photographed before and after service for quality assurance and fraud prevention purposes. These images are stored privately and not shared publicly. From time to time, vehicles may be filmed or photographed for social media. You may opt out if you would like. If your video is published on social media your plate may be censored for privacy.
10. PCQA Standard
All products used by ProSpring Auto Detailing comply with our internal ProSpring Chemical Quality Assessment (PCQA) — our own testing process where we evaluate the chemicals and products we purchase for effectiveness, safety, and suitability before they are used on any vehicle. This prohibits the use of harsh, damaging, or ineffective chemicals. Every product is tested to this standard before use.
11. Consumer Guarantees Under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have services re-performed or to a refund for a major failure with the service. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including any applicable consumer guarantees, and nothing in these Terms is intended to limit those rights in any way.

4. Photography & Vehicle Images
All vehicles are photographed before and after service for quality assurance and fraud prevention. These images are stored privately. From time to time, vehicles may be filmed or photographed for social media content — you may opt out at any time by notifying us before your service. If your vehicle is published publicly, your licence plate will be blurred or censored.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your personal information is stored securely and only accessible by ProSpring Auto Detailing staff. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data against unauthorised access. Booking information submitted through our website is processed via EmailJS and is not stored on our servers.
6. Cookies & Analytics
Our website may use cookies or third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. No personally identifiable information is collected through these tools. You may disable cookies through your browser settings.
7. Your Rights
As a small business with an annual turnover under $3 million, ProSpring Auto Detailing is generally exempt from most obligations under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). That said, we do not share or sell your personal information to any third party, for any purpose — full stop. If you have any questions about the information we hold, contact us at prospringautodetailing@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Third-Party Services
We use EmailJS to process form submissions and Google Business for reviews. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies independently.
